== Structure of an article ==
The structure of every Walkthrough article should be as follows:

===Top===
If the game the walkthrough is on has a remake, it should say so at at the top of the page and provide a link to the remake.
*e.g: <center> ''This is the Bulbapedia walkthrough for [[Pokémon Red and Blue Versions]]. This walkthrough follows the original [[Game Boy]] version, '''not''' {{game|FireRed and LeafGreen|s}}. <br> The guide for those can be found '''[[FrLg walkthrough section 01|here]].''''' </center>
===Headlines===
Each Route or City should be in the second highest headline.
*e.g: <code><nowiki>==Route 1==</nowiki></code>
===Images===
There should be an image for every route
===Trainers===
Each walkthrough article should have a list of trainers that can be found in that area, along with their Pokémon, and the amount of {{Pdollar}} that is won from them.
*e.g:
{| class="expandable" {{bluetable|background: #{{hoenn color light}}; width: 50%}}
|- style="background: #{{hoenn color}};"

===Pokémon===
}}
Each walkthrough article should have a list of wild Pokémon that can be found in that area, along with their encounter rates and level ratio and area details. Each picture link should have a direct link to the Pokémon's own page as well as using hovertext to avoid the use of parenthesis for minor things like fishing rods, different levels and other unneeded material that would widen the template too much. Each Pokémon should only be listed once per game on each route or location.
*e.g:
{| {{bluetable|background: #{{ruby color light}}; width: 30%}}
|- style="background: #{{ruby color}};"
! Pokémon
! Encounter rate

|-

|{{MS|118|Goldeen (Pokémon)}}<br>Goldeen

|}
Alternatively for the games related to [[Johto]] and [[Sinnoh]] regions for all wild encounters where the time of day affects the encounter rate then this template should be more appropriate:

{| {{bluetable|background: #{{platinum color light}}; width: 30%}}
|- style="background: #{{platinum color}};"

This page should have an image of the game or games' box art and a brief intro, as well as a section containing a bulleted list of links to individual parts of the walkthrough. Each bullet point should include a description of what each part covers. It may also be approriate to subsection the list, such as "Main story" and "Post-game".

Preferably the highest ratio should be listed first with the time of day in parenthesis and the alternate encounter rates placed in the box next to it under "Other Encounter rates". This template is intended for general field use only and not for caves or buildings since the time of day does not affect the ratio there.
When creating a new landing page, add it to [[Appendix:List of walkthroughs]].

===Bosses===
==Structure of a page (core series)==
Bosses such as Gym leaders and the rival do not share the same table as the ordinary trainers, instead, they have their own unique table
{{main|Bulbapedia:Project Walkthroughs/Structure/Core series}}
*e.g:

{{Party
==Structure of a page (other games)==
|color={{fighting color}}
:Most mechanics from the [[core series]] games do not carry over to other games, so walkthroughs on these games cannot be expected to follow the same layout. These games should describe their own respective venues in as encyclopedic a manner as possible. This includes all opponents, missions, locations, etc.
|headcolor={{fighting color light}}
|bordercolor={{fighting color dark}}
|sprite=SpriteBrawly.png
|prize={{Pdollar}}1800
|class=[[Leader]]
|name=Brawly

|move1type=Fighting
|move2=Leer
|move2type=Normal

|move1type=Fighting
|move2=Knock Off
|move2type=Dark
|move3=Arm Thrust

|move4=Sand-Attack

}}

However the only exception for the rival on this rule, is for {{3v|Ruby|Sapphire|Emerald}}, as well as {{3v|Diamond|Pearl|Platinum}}, because the un-chosen [[Player Character]] also has a [[Starter Pokémon]] which depends on the one the player chose and with there being two characters there are six possible combinations. a different template will be used for the rival to avoid an overuse of 6 templates instead of the standard 3.

Structure

Structure of landing pages

Every walkthrough must have a central page that links to all of its parts, such as Appendix:Red and Blue walkthrough.

This page should have an image of the game or games' box art and a brief intro, as well as a section containing a bulleted list of links to individual parts of the walkthrough. Each bullet point should include a description of what each part covers. It may also be approriate to subsection the list, such as "Main story" and "Post-game".

When creating a new landing page, add it to Appendix:List of walkthroughs.

Structure of a page (core series)

Main article: Bulbapedia:Project Walkthroughs/Structure/Core series

Structure of a page (other games)
