Duplicate of the breeding section to learn this move. Erased for redundancy.

The Japanese Reference

Is it worth noting that the Gen. III games emphasize the "Blunt Strike" reference? I was thinking this:

The fact of False Swipe's Japanese name, "Blunt Strike", being a reference to striking with the blunt side of a sword is emphasized in the Generation III games. This is because the "slash" mark appears, then moves to the side.
