Compoundeyes (Japanese: ふくがん Compound Eyes) is an ability introduced in Generation III. Four Pokémon have this ability, all of which are Template:Type2.
Effect
In battle
Compoundeyes raises accuracy by 30% in battles.
Outside of battle
In Pokémon Emerald and all subsequent games, if the Pokémon with the ability leads the party, even if it has fainted, the chance of finding a Pokémon in the wild holding an item increases by 50%.

In the anime
Venonat: Venonat scans the surrounding area and focuses on the target.
- Activated by Tracey's Venonat in The Lost Lapras, The Crystal Onix, and Pokémon Water War. At this point in the anime, abilities did not yet exist in the games, but this had a very similar effect. Tracey called it "Radar Eye".
