::To clarify: in the case of the only two mons that have it, no. But only because it is a Ghost type, and Normal/Fighting moves with Contact will not ''actually'' make contact, thus not triggering the ability at all. If a non-Ghost mon could legitimately posess Mummy, then yes, it would behave normally even with Normal/Fighting contact moves, as long as there is no other impedence on its contact. | ::To clarify: in the case of the only two mons that have it, no. So what does the ability actually DO, does it just take away the abilities of other Pokémon so they can't use them? Or is there some sort of effect that having the ability "Mummy" causes other than being able to pass the ability further. For example, does it cause burn or some other effect? Also, what about Illusion? Is the only thing it does is change the appearance of your Pokémon? --Landfish7 00:18, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
Is the change permanent, or does the ability revert back to normal after the battle? --~~☆Flyingtypefan☆~~ •Talk• Name origin• 20:27, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
Normal and Fighting
If a Pokémon with Mummy is targeted by a Normal- or Fighting-type move, does Mummy's effect activate? —darklordtrom 00:40, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, if the Pokémon with mummy isn't Ghost.----無限の知性 ◎ DENNOU◆ZENSHI 14:32, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
- To clarify: in the case of the only two mons that have it, no. But only because it is a Ghost type, and Normal/Fighting moves with Contact will not actually make contact, thus not triggering the ability at all. If a non-Ghost mon could legitimately posess Mummy, then yes, it would behave normally even with Normal/Fighting contact moves, as long as there is no other impedence on its contact. - unsigned comment from Wohdin (talk • contribs)
