The Oceanic Museum is a museum in Slateport City about the ocean. It plays a small role in the main storyline in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, and has some educational value. This building contains 10 people, including the two women who charge people the entrance fee, and the reporter who asks you if you have a story.

The first floor

As soon as you enter the first floor, you will have to pay an entrance fee of File:Pokébuck sign.gif50. When the trainer fights Team Magma or Team Aqua (depending on the version of the game) here, he or she will be able to obtain the TM46, Thief. This floor contains a lot of information on the sea, such as why the sea is salty, or why it appears blue. This floor has 7 exhibits in total, counting the Ocean Mini Facts exhibit (which has three segments) as one. This floor also has a reporter, who asks people to tell him a story about Pokémon. This story has to 4 phrases or less, and it will be aired on TV.

The second foor

On the second floor, the trainer encounters more members of the villianous team. As well as more information, this floor has exhibits about the Pokémon world, such as a model of the Hoenn region, and a model of the S.S. Anne, but also water samples from the Kanto and Johto regions. This floor contains 9 exhibits.
