Captain Aidan (Japanese: ラッセル Russell) is a character in the Pokémon anime who appeared in The Pokémon Water War and The Fire-Ing Squad. He is voiced by 林一夫 Kazuo Hayashi in Japanese.

History

Captain Aidan is a firefighter who uses Template:Type2 Pokémon as a search and rescue team. His main Wartortle wears a scarf and has a rivalry with Ash's Squirtle.

He competed against the Squirtle Squad and Ash in the Fire and Rescue Grand Prix. Although Ash lost, his Squirtle later led the Squad to victory.
