The Battle Tower in Sinnoh is on the northern land mass. The player is allowed access to the Battle Tower only after defeating the Sinnoh Elite Four and going to the Snowpoint City Harbor. Palmer, Damion's father, is the Tower Tycoon here.
Trainers all over the northeastern island speak of the Battle Tower, hailing it as the the ultimate test for serious trainers. It is home to several different challenges.
The first of these challenges is the standard single battle in which the challenger must engage in seven three on three battles in a row. Winning a set of seven battles earns the player 3 BP.
The second of these challenges follows the same layout as the standard single battle but are rather conducted as double battles.
Finally, multi battles can be conducted, following the format found in the other two challenges. Before the challenge begins, players can choose among Riley, Cheryl, Buck, Mira, and Marley to be their partner. Each partner specializes in a different Pokémon stat.
Much like the Battle Frontier in Hoenn, it uses battle points which can be traded for prizes in the big castle.
