This card was reprinted in the Base Set 2 reprint set, which was only released outside of Japan.
Trivia
- The Impostor Professor Oak character has appeared in other Pokémon media, such as How I Became a Pokémon Card and Pokémon Adventures. He has also been featured on other cards.
- In the Base Set 2 reprint of this card, its name was spelled Impostor Professor Oak, while the original release spelled it Imposter.
- In Pokémon Adventures, Sabrina had her Kadabra disguise itself as Professor Oak. The transformation looks extremely similar to this artwork.
