Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.

Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
If you have a question about something, be proactive. Ask for help. The staff won't bite.
Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.

Editing other people's userpages

Hi, please don't edit other people's userpages unless you have explicit permission from them to do so. Even if they have spelling mistakes, it's not your place to fix it. Thanks. —♥ Jello ^talk 20:44, 23 April 2011 (UTC)

When Welcoming users

When welcoming users pay attention to their usernames. If they have an innapropiate name don't bother welcoming them because they are going to get blocked anyway. Thanks --Pokemaster 97 01:55, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

Friend list

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that according to the Userspace policy, you're not allowed to have a friends list. It's to prevent other users from feeling neglected. No harm, no foul. I was just letting you know. Since this is a staff request, it wouldn't have counted against your "one edit per day". But the staff has decided that Team Budew will count towards the user page edits because it is personal and not constructive to the main space. Because you edited your user page, and Team Budew within 24 hours (yesterday), your page has been protected. If you would like to have a friends list, or interact personally amongst Team Budew, the forums will provide that service without penalties. A few helpful templates

Hey, me again. I noticed a few times when you create a link you use the [[ ]] brackets. That works but there are a few templates that make it work a bit more efficiently. :) Say for example you want to link to a Pokémon's page. Rather than typing out [[Pikachu (Pokémon)]] you can just put {{p|Pikachu}} and it'll work the same way. Then let's say it's a page with (anime) at the end of it. Just use {{an|}} and it'll automatically add (anime) to whatever you put into the template. A few more useful templates would be {{m|}}, {{a|}}, {{AP|}}, and {{tp|(Trainer)|(Pokémon)|(Pokémon's optional nickname)}} ^★Jo the Marten^★ ಠ_ಠ ♥ 23:35, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

Does editing/making a new page that starts with User:... (for example User:Blastoiseboy19/teams) similar to your team page (no copying, just came upon it) count as the usernamespace? I'm assuming it does, but I'm asking jic. Blastoiseboy19^(Talk) was here at 20:40, 16 May 2011 (UTC)
