Dawn's Buizel (Japanese: ヒカリのブイゼル Hikari's Buoysel) is the fourth Pokémon captured by Dawn in DP034. His Japanese voice actor is 古島清孝 Kiyotaka Furushima.
Buizel seems to have a different type of personality than Dawn's other Pokémon. It purposely looks for battles with trainers' Pokémon and loves to show off its amazing strength. It first took out Dawn's Piplup, then Zoey's Glameow, and finally Ash's Pikachu by using its incredible speed and moves like Aqua Jet. It showed bitterness towards humans but has gained respect for Dawn after she saved it from a nasty fall. Afterwards, Buizel found her worthy enough for a second battle, where she was able to capture it.
Since then, though, it still gets along poorly with most other Pokémon. In particular, it seems to have a rivalry developing with one of the other strength-oriented Pokémon on the cast, Brock's Croagunk.

Trivia
- Buizel is the fourth Pokémon to follow the pattern of premiering in the latest movie and then being captured by one of the main characters. Others include May's Munchlax after Destiny Deoxys, and James's Mime Jr. and Brock's Bonsly after Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. Dawn's Buizel comes after Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea.
- Buizel's stripes on its back identify it as a male.
- Buizel caused a degree of controversy in the Pokémon community, as many had hoped that it would belong to Ash instead of Dawn. One of the more common reasonings for this was that Ash had not yet captured a Template:Type2 Pokémon in the Sinnoh region, and Dawn had her Piplup already.
- Buizel's attitude seems very similar to [WP Daxter] from [WP Jak and Daxter]
