:::::I imagine something along the lines of the non-player game template would look good, separated by movie or generation (just tossing out ideas, not good at template making). --Spriteit 07:55, 5 February 2012 (UTC) | :::::I imagine something along the lines of the non-player game template would look good, separated by movie or generation (just tossing out ideas, not good at template making). --Spriteit 07:55, 5 February 2012 (UTC) | ||
::::::I suggest by movie. Honestly, I don't even know every character's name, so when I use this, I prefer it by movie, not name. You can always divide it to movie per series (movies 1-5 in one template, 10-13 in another, etc.) <span style="font-family:Cracked; font-size:125%"><span style="color:#303030;">-tc</span><span style="color:#e03828;">²₆</span><span style="color:#303030;">tc</span><span style="color:#e03828;">26-</span></span> 08:00, 5 February 2012 (UTC) | ::::::I suggest by movie. This template is currently fifteen lines high. Dividing it by movie should not make it so unwieldy that splitting it is necessary. I support a new method of dividing. —<span style="font-family:Verdana"><span style="color:#000">darklord</span><span style="color:#0047AB">trom</span></span> 10:00, 6 February 2012 (UTC) |

I'm sorry but I don't think Molly Hale should count as an antagonist. Yes she was the cause of the problems but she was definately NOT evil and she didn't mean to do harm. Truthfully that movie didn't have a true antagonist. But that's just me. --☆ケンジガール 05:50, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
- An antagonist doesn't have to be evil--just a character with goals opposite to the protagonist. For example, in Death Note, Light is an evil (or at least extremely screwed-up) protagonist while L is a good antagonist. Whether Light is evil or good, he's the protagonist and L's goals are in opposition to Light's.--Loveはドコ? (talk • contribs) 06:27, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
Oi, what does it take to get Diana from the Celebi movie on here? Who isn't Diane from the Jirachi movie. ArcToraphim 16:22, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
Kajin and Yajin
Who are these? --Maxim 16:58, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
- Those brothers with Reshiram/Zekrom who are the sons of this guy, I think.--電禅Den Zen 17:02, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
Why?
Why do it alfabictly? Why not do it by movie? Truthseeker4449 01:27, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
- I personally find it much easier to find characters when they are listed alphabetically when it comes to templates. --ケンジのガール 08:22, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
- I disagree for this template. Several of our character names aren't even mentioned in the film itself and only in the credits or merchandise. It would be much easier for me to find "the old man from the movie I just watched but don't know his name" if they were listed by movie; now, it is only useful if I already know their name, in which case I may as well just use search. --SnorlaxMonster 04:58, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
- So should the template be split into fourteen templates, and keep the sorting (antagonist, protagonist etc.), or one large one and remove the sorting? --Spriteit 06:46, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
- I would personally prefer to get rid of antagonist/protagonist and focus on the movie. 14 templates just seems excessive. --SnorlaxMonster 07:06, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
