- We get free edits because we use our pages for potential policies, tentative templates, and may-be mainspace pages. And some user crap. We tend to keep the user crap to a minimum, though there are some leftovers.

No thanks
I'll keep my opinion to myself, as I am but a humble (or not) user, and I seriously doubt myview on which admins are performing up to par and which aren't will matter, and saying such will gain myself another enemy and you will brand me as a whiner.--DCM((Mock MeEdits)) 00:22, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
Administrator Status
In order to keep our Administrator list currently up-to-date, this is a generic "are you there" message.
You've been assumed as currently active and are already marked as such, but if you disagree with this, either edit the List of administrators to reflect your status (Active, Hiatus, Inactive), or reply here when you get the chance. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 16:14, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

BP:COC
Hey evkl, since you came up with the Code of Conduct, I figured I should let you know about this. MAGNEDETH is coming to my talk page and yelling at me when I'm making useful edits. I told him to follow the code and be nice, but he won't listen. Yes, he's an admin, but so are you, and you've been an admin for way longer than him. Do you think you could talk to him about this? 0° 18:52, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Project Games
I would like to be the leader of this project. I came to know that you were among the persons to go to in this regard from this page. What do I have to do in this regard to become a project leader of this project? On a different note, I would like to have a private conversation with you regarding the behavior of an admin of Bulbapedia in the forums.--Sher-e-Bengal- 11:33, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Edit Warring
It was only my second war, as they were two pages for the same reason. Why are admin all of a sudden messing with Bulbapedia norms and/or regulations?--KukiTalk 16:37, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
Let me teach you a bit of history. World War II had an Asian front and a European front. However, they ARE THE SAME WAR! Same thing with the edit wars, 2 fronts, but still the same war. So unless you want us to wait for World War IV, then listen to me, and see my validity--KukiTalk 18:55, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
I move that "Edit Wars" now be called "Edit Battles", to avoid any confusion. Seconded? -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 21:28, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

I know you told me not to use the autoblock...
However, a persistent Grawp vandal had come on and started vandalizing. I blocked one account with autoblock disabled as you instructed. A sockpuppet was created, and I knew that I had to take a gamble on the autoblock. If it stops this vandal wave, as far as I'm concerned, the pros outweigh the cons in this situation. I hope you understand.- unsigned comment from Shiningpikablu252 (talk • contribs) 13:50, 19 May 2009
- I'm pretty sure autoblock blocks every single user on the 'pedia. That's why I didn't want you to use it. If they resolved the IP issue, it's no problem, but if they haven't everyone's locked out at the moment except 'powerful' people. -- evkl (need to talk?) 18:55, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I know. As far as I know, though, exploiting the autoblock problems may have been the only way to stop what could have been a vandal epidemic. We all know Grawp is a very notorious wiki vandal, and if I hadn't decied to try to exploit the autoblock problems, we could have ended up with sockpuppet after sockpuppet doing nothing but vandalize, resulting in far worse headaches than the autoblock problems. --Shiningpikablu252 18:58, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I need to get into the archives to load up some photos for some articles that don't have photos and I keep getting this error: "Login error There is no user by the name "MasterKenobi". Check your spelling." I am using the same username and password but it will not let me in. Could you please help me out? Thanks. -MasterKenobi 16:27, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Help
Ketsuban banned me forever on the forums because he doesnt like me. When I go to Login it says, you have been banned reason "Bye!!!" date ban will be lifted "Never" And I got an email from him saying he's given me 1000 non-expiring infraction points. Please help me, can you do something, he swears at me on Aim, and now he's doing all this to me. 1000 points is just crazy, I apologised for everything, Kasumi said she forgave me, then 2 days later hes banned me. What happened, Ketsuban has gone rogue Max King 17:48, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
Can you at least ask her then what I did to deserve a permanent ban? Max King 18:10, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
What request? I didn't know she had asked me to do anything? Where did she put it? I would never be insubordinate. I promise Max King 10:44, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- Its not a lie, its the truth, she swore at me on Aim many many times. I reported her and she said no one will believe me. What was I meant to do? Just take all that abuse and not dare report it because I'd get a permaban? That is so unfair. Max King 17:31, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Playing nice
Playing nice doesn't work. Not to mention that I didn't say anything rude to Capsule Computer. Just some truth that he plays a local know-it-all and plays a butthurt after someone tells truth to him. That's nothing insulting, if he felt offended - that's his thing. And it's not about "agreeing" or "not agreeing". I can't agree with false information. And if anyone should apologize, it's him - for underestimating the years of my research. --Maxim 09:30, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

The LX Page
Hey.
Long time no talk, Ev. It's LX. Not that I care or anything, but I was wondering why the Ledian_X page was deleted. I'm just asking because someone told me there was a 404 in one of the links to my profile over at the Channel Awesome wiki where I hang my hat now. I'd have IMed you on AIM. But, I don't have your screenname now. Just wondering why it was deleted. That's all. We should catch up on stuff as I have some wiki related questions to ask you. Thanks in advance, LedianX.
LedianX 20:05, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
- It was decided that a page on every admin was not necessary. You're not the only one who had their page deleted. So I've seen anyway. --ケンジのガール 20:50, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Yeah. I noticed the Damian Silverblade page was deleted, too. Just call it curiosity since I had a broken link on my wiki page at the other place. I don't care wither way. I would like Pokemon FanworX deleted, too. The site doesn't work and I'm never bringing that back. So, if you could, please delete it. LedianX 21:54, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. I probably should have deleted the page ages ago. Good work. Everything's in order and I've removed the other link. I do mention BMG, though. =D LedianX 22:06, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, everyone kind of got to the rationale--I was out for the afternoon. I've been good, though--if your screen name is the same I'll catch up with you the next time I'm on. -- evkl (need to talk?) 22:18, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
My screen name is still CferraLX. IM me sometime! LedianX 22:43, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Please protect these 2 templates:
They are in high use and vandalism can cause issues to a large number of high-bandwidth articles. MK 16:49, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
why...
because you get warned for editing your Userspace too much(really, unless it fills the recent changes, is there really such a thing as editing the Userspace too much?), and if you continue you get your Userspace Locked, and you can't edit, plus your restricted on what you can put(besides the porn that should stay restricted) that's why --Cookiezard 20:53, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
- If there wasn't so many Templates, i would've been able to do less edits >_> --Cookiezard 21:02, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Home Page
I would just like to point out that, under Current Events on the Home Page, Where it says that the 142nd Episode of D/P is coming out featuring Togepi. Togepi, however, is misspelled "Togepy", and if you could alter that, thank you.
Nothing major, just soemthing I noticed that bugs me.
MasterBall 18:50, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
- That's not a misspelling, that's Togepi's Japanese name in Romaji. Bulbanews uses the Romaji names when they report about Japanese stuff such as new episodes. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 18:51, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

I would like you to know that Sonichu is a REAL Pokemon. Please consider this. Thank you. I will dare to keep my dreams alive. --CWCSonichuChandler 02:33, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Kenji
Kenji-girl has deleted my page because she doesn't like me. She told me to make less edits, a few weeks ago, since then, I have only made 1 edit to the page, and she deleted my page. Can she do this? I really want my page back, I'm making sure I behave, as I don't want to get banned here and lose my page, now she's taken my page, even though I've done nothing wrong. Max King 16:10, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- I did NOT! TTEchinda told me to block you forever. I thought you wouldn't be needing your page anymore. God... Do you honestly think I'm that pathetic? --ケンジのガール 20:06, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Huh.
TTE's gone, so I think that you're the right person to report that. See what one of your your trusted admins does! Using banned users as scapegoats is like the most pathetic thing that an admin can do. If normal user did it, he'd be permabanned for that. And I'm not questioning anyone's authority. Just reporting the thing that bothered me. And I realize that it's pretty old (I just returned from holidays). But seeing that the image is still there, I assume that the issue hasn't been settled. --Maxim 07:21, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- It's the image that was offensive. It said "Kuki is a stupid hotlinker with pregnancy fetish" or something like that (there was more, I don't recall everything and it was uploaded by Ketsuban. Hell, I should have taken a screenshot of it. I should've known that she'd delete it. --Maxim 14:58, 26 August 2009 (UTC) UPDATE: It's actually CoolPikachu who deleted it. He'll confirm that.
- So, you say that it was RIGHT that Ketsuban discouraged Kuki like that? Of course, he's a hotlinker and that is wrong but it is still OFFENSIVE and hence UNACCEPTABLE. Aren't we in Bulbapedia supposed to play nice? The rule should apply to admins as well. And it certainly wasn't nice. Ketsuban did something that a normal user would get permabanned for, yet you're PRAISING her. It's completely unfair. However, congratulations in admitting that Bulbapedia admins are above the hereby law. You've got the courage to say the truth. --Maxim 20:04, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- Regardless of whether I like the current law or not, Ketsuban broke it. I see it as a reason to question her fitness to be an admin. There are different ways to prevent hotlinking, the one that Ket chose was simply offensive. And no, I am not defending Kuki. I'm just saying that offending ANY user (even a banned one) is wrong. This method of discourage hotlinking is simply unacceptable (even in my CoCless Bulbapedia ideal offensive pictures are strictly prohibited) and should not be practiced. --Maxim 20:16, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- Ket already committed enough crimes (on the forums, of course, she barely does anything on the Pedia) to get permabanned. Indeed, she speaks her mind a lot. And it's something that I usually get warned/banned for (because of CoC). She is just as "harsh" as me. The difference is that she's an admin, and hence she's more respected and her offences are often ignored. Nice or not, she abuses her powers strongly and it's an undeniable fact. If you don't see that, then you're blinded by your "trust" in her. --Maxim 06:33, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
- Maxim, I agree with everything you say in this instance, she also lies to her fellow admins to avoid herself getting into trouble, and there is no reasoning with her, she has no compasion, and I think she does it to satisfy her thirst for power. And all the other admins tell her they trust her 100% and stuff like that, and she then goes and breaks the rules, and no one seems to care and it creates a very much "us and them" situation which contradicts the statement about Bulbagarden being a community. Maxim I salute you. Max King 19:38, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Protected Page Policy
Hi there, I was just wondering about what Bulbapedia's policy is on contributing to Protected Pages. The policy seems to apply to just adding or changing content, but I wanted to expand on Chuck's Pokemon Special section and can't think of a way to suggest it on the Talk page without writing up my proposed paragraph for that section there. Is this what one should do in this situation or is there an alternative that Bulbapedia prefers? Thanks. --TintedLens 12:13, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

Hey I was wondering how i apply for a staff position on Bulbapedia? I just read that you are doing a staff recruitment and I would love to be able to help. Thanks! Mudkipluvr4ever 04:41, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

Linking Accounts
Do you Still happen to have the link to attach Bulbapedia accounts? (News, Archive, etc.) Also, while I'm at it is there anything that needs to be done? Thanks! —MasterKenobi 19:43, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
- You can access the login unification link through the special pages, but here it is for your reference: Special:MergeAccount —♥ Jellotalk 19:54, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
- Although I've heard rumors on the internets that it's been intermittently broken for quite some time. Let me know if it works for you. -- evkl (need to talk?) 21:40, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Happy Bulbaversary
As your gift to me, can I have a raise? Also, I wrote on your portal talk page. You should read it and agree with me share your thoughts. Also, I'll have that Bulbagarden article up later today. If you read this before I post it, and anything crosses your mind that needs to be added that isn't already noted in the thread (wherever it went), gimme a bell.
Also happy Valentine's. ♥ —darklordtrom 11:49, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
Bad Word
I found a bad word in one of your posts URL: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Bulbapedia_talk:Code_of_conduct#Something_Easy: Under friends lists and not friends list waterlubber 23:07, 30 December 2011 (UTC) -- unsigned comment from Waterlubber (talk • contribs)
Guru Meditation: Varnish Cache Server
I've been getting the following error message fairly often while on Bulbapedia. It's been happening for a while, but the frequency is starting to increase, making it particularly noticeable.
Error 503 Service Unavailable Service Unavailable Guru Meditation: XID: 1285960668 Varnish cache server
The 'XID' number changes every time, but it always starts with '128' (which, incidentally, are the first three numbers of my IP address - relevant?). Refreshing the page usually works, but it sometimes takes a few tries, and occasionally when the page finally loads, most images have disappeared and all rounded corners (Template:Roundy) have unrounded themselves.

- Just got it again, but the XID number didn't start with '128' this time. O.o GoldenCelebi 22:57, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
And again D:
There was another line added to the error thing this time, something about robot spiders. Of course, being me, I didn't copy/paste it, but anyway~ GoldenCelebi
