On the way to the next town, they find a purrloin arguing with a mandibuzz. Meowth translates for the group and says that Purrloin was trying to steal food from the Mandibuzz. Purrloin dissagrees. Meowth is instantly infatuated and takes Purrloin's side. They continue walking. When Iris tries to capture Purrloin, Meowth jumps in the way and is almost captured by Iris' pokeball again. At the end, purrloin's owner appears and convinces the gang that she ran into an accident on the way home, and she did not intend to leave Purloin alone for so long. Meowth tries to tell Purloin that he likes "her" but Purloin's owner dashes Meowth's hopes by telling him that Purrloin is indeed, male. --> |
