We must have a "Elite Four/Champion" yes/no here. -- Taylor
- Yeah, I knew I was forgetting stuff. There's a LOT of potential fields to be added to this. --Pie ~♪♫ 22:55, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
I am really regretting adding that Age box. Because apparently, our editors can't edit these pages like mature rational people who only are getting their information from canon sources, and are using it as an excuse to debate what they think the ages are. I'm considering just taking it out. --Pie ~♪♫ 17:07, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
Voice Actor/Seiyū?
Do you think we could add a segment listing their English and Japanese voice actors? --☆ケンジガール 07:03, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- That would be a good idea as part of the subtemplate animeyes. TTEchidna 18:06, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Manga Counterpart
Similar to the Anime one. Isn't it needed?
Spaces
Why does the infobox have those spaces in it? Particulary in the header and the age box. --ケンジのガール 22:45, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- Probably inserted as part of Politoed666's project of trying to clear out the uncategorized templates. That "testing" edit I made was to see if this was indeed the case. --Shiningpikablu252 22:50, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- After further tests, I believe this is indeed the case. --Shiningpikablu252 22:54, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Why?
Why do some of the movie characters have no tables while some do? *tc26* 12:40, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
Code outline
An outline of code for copy-pasting would be nice thanks, like other templates. — THE TROM — 03:25, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Question
Is there any way to make it so that there's not a huge gap between the template and the article (see Charon's history for more info)? ht14 16:54, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Opinions
Like it
- This is really good stuff. TTE has been working really hard on this for the past couple of days.--Clarky13 23:22, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
- This is very well done.
however, I think TTE gets all the credit for fixing the templateNice job you two.--ForceFire 01:25, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Hate it
Other
I'm going to find someone like TTE or an expert in coding to make the boxes have switching capabilities so characters like May and Dawn switch artwork...--Psyライダー☮ 20:19, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah. Trom fails at keeping promises. I'll make it up to you later. *wink* —darklordtrom 08:57, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Champion slot
Should the champ slot be filled in if the character has won a championship then continues to be a regular trainer i.e. Ash or Red from Adventures?
Of course, this discounts all the player characters in the main games, save perhaps GSCHGSS!Red. - Chosen of Mana - 21:32, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
This has been bugging me for a while
Wouldn't it have been easier to update the original character infobox into the new one? PokémonInfobox had no problems with this....--ForceFire 07:23, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
- We didn't want to break all the pages while we update, so we made a new one in a new name, and after we changed them all - we merged the revisions from the old one into this one. Same result, same amount of work. What would've been easier? --electAbuzzzz 09:44, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
Roundy corners.
I request (One more and we have...) this template to be fixed so every browser can see the rounded corners (-moz-border-radius: 10px to {{Roundy|10px}}
). 聖人 wat 13:31, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- Updating a request; I was seeing Iris's article, and I noted that the Game Counterpart section's corners were wrong, they shouldn't be
class="roundybl/br"
, change it toclass="roundy"
. Masatoshi: Gen. II>All. Discuss. 23:44, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
Birthday
I've noticed that a few characters (like Lunick) have a canon birthday, but it's listed in the Trivia section. Should another part be added to the template for birthdays? --Reversinator 15:14, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Manga counterpart
Am I the only one who's annoyed with the "Manga counterpart" field? It's yet another thing that makes it seem like Pokemon Adventures was the only true Pokemon manga, which is not true. We might change this to "Adventures counterpart" but it'd still make Special seem more important than other mangas. We could also change this field to "Manga counterparts" (which would include counterparts from all mangas). If the latter, we'd have to delete the "Debut chapter" field (because we'd have to add a chapter for every manga, which would stretch the template, making it fugly). --Maxim 14:18, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Trainer class parameter
Go take a look at Cilan, check the parameter and how wrong it looks, it should either be changed to {{roundy}}
, or mix it with the Game counterpart parameter. Masatoshitalk 21:26, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
Blood type?
Maybe add a parser for it? It seems odd that the trivia for the Adventures-related characters are mostly about this. We could get rid of it as a result. ht14 01:20, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
- I had been thinking the same thing but never brought it up. I've added it to the template. :D ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 01:32, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
- The next thing to do is to edit the template again so that if "Blood Type" is the last field be filled in, then it gets rounded on the bottom. —darklordtrom 09:47, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
Manga debut chapters
I was wondering, is there a way to make the chapter debut sections list multiple chapters like it's able to list multiple counterparts? I'm raising the point that Maxim made early; the whole "Adventures" being treated as the only manga thing. I can't seem to list more than one, and I'm not sure if there's a way to just not list the chapter at all. Ataro 14:50, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
Zodiac issue
Apparently there's an issue with the zodiac info. Gold for instance is a Cancer, not a Leo. Can someone modify the template to reflect this? ht14 21:29, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
- Are the star signs actually mentioned in the manga? Is it actually relevant at all? Werdnae (talk) 21:35, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
Where is the manga?
The debut rounds of Bill (Adventures), Giovanni (Adventures) and Walker are invisible in their pages. I tried to open in three different browsers, but I still can't see "Debut round" in the Infobox, only when I open the source. Is something wrong? |) u |( e ® 04:52, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
- The parsers for this template (roundnum and roundname) were apparently removed (possibly by accident). ht14 06:36, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
- I already told you why. It's because the template was severally disorganized. I asked for the space where chapter titles go to be edited. Zesty opted for removing them, I guess. Ataro 06:59, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
- I recall the converstaion, but this was in regards to the counterparts aspect for the most part, but hmm... maybe it wasn't placed there to begin with? ht14 07:00, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, but removing it removed it for all. I never intended for this to happen, but I'd take it up with Zesty to see if we can find a compromise. Ataro 07:05, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
