Does Synchronize's effect on the natures of wild Pokémon apply in the Great Marsh or if the Pokémon with Synchronize is fainted? --Shiny Noctowl 02:04, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Since other natures apply when the Pokémon's first but fainted, I'd say yes. Also, Great Marsh, yes too. Just has to be first in line, not sent out. TTEchidna 02:24, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Apparently Synchronize will only pass on a NORMAL Poison effect if the Pokémon is Badly Poisoned by Toxic or Poison Fang. Diachronos 16:41, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Does Synchronize work if the poké is dead but at the front of the party? - unsigned comment from Camzoman (talkcontribs)

No it doesn't. Also, the correct term is fainted and not dead. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 13:56, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
Wait, this contradicts other info right on this talk page. I think I'll check a little later. I have 50 of nearly every ball on my Diamind, along with a lot of Sychronizers, so I should be able to get a good sample size. Would 250 non synched, 250 synched, and 250 with a fainted syncher be good? Shadowater 17:56, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

I'm not entirely sure that this is correct... Although there may be mitigating circumstances that I'm not aware of. In my Platinum gamee I've been trying to capture a female Scyther with an Adamant nature so that I can breed an adamant technician, after catching five Scyther while having an Adamant Kirlia with Synchronize leading my party, none of them have had an adamant nature. Although, I realize that the Syncronize ability only infers a 50% probability to encountering a Pokémon with the same nature and it is more than possible to flip a coin to the same side five times in a row... But it seemed strange to me. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this might be happening? If not I guess I'll just keep trying and I'll gather more data on the situation as I go... --Ender Phoenix 01:44, 27 December 2009 (UTC)

RNG

"However, this does not apply to any Pokémon created with Method 1 of the random number generator."

That makes no sense out of context. It should be wikilinked to the appropriate article, but we don't seem to HAVE an appropriate article - the psuedorandom number generator article mentions nothing about any "method 1". Help? Yamikuronue 00:32, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

It says right there in the article. "This includes Emerald's 'one-off' Pokémon such as legendaries, Castform and Beldum as well as Diamond, Pearl and Platinum's roaming legendaries and the non-legendary one-offs such as Bebe's Eevee and the Porygon in Veilstone City." ▫▪Ťïňắ 00:38, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

The wording still remains confusing and should likely be fixed. It claims that it includes those pokemon, but does not give a general outlook of the pokemon that are in that list, it does not say all legendaries, it simply says the list includes those. It could be better worded and the entire "Method 1 of the random number generator" bit should either be removed or the psuedorandom number generator article should include information on these methods. Badly Poison

Does it now stop passing bad poison altogether, or does it pass it as bad poison now? TorchicBlaziken (talkedits) 18:01, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Can someone comprobe this? http://fypblog.com/post/4942918974/interesting-pokemon-fact#disqus_thread It says that if a pokemon have synchronize and twisted spoon is 50% chance of encounter a pokémon with the opposite nature. Sorry for my english--Virus bass 02:07, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

Drifloon/Lapras

Does Synchronize work on the Drifloon at Valley Windworks and the Lapras at Union Cave? PkmnChmp5 04:26, 7 October 2011 (UTC)

Like any other wild Pokémon, yes. MetalMetroid997 07:19, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
