Pokémon world locations |
Join Avenue (Japanese: ジョインアベニュー Join Avenue) is a building introduced in Pokémon Black and White 2. It is located between Route 4 and Nimbasa City, replacing Nimbasa Gate which was previously there.
Initially, Join Avenue is an empty building, as it is the player's task to invite visitors, making them residents. These visitors are NPCs visiting daily, known as the player's fans, or avatars of other players which have been registered by the player's game. Visitors can be invited to open their own dream shop or recommended to visit another shop on Join Avenue, increasing its popularity if the customer is satisfied. Exclamations akin to those appearing in the streets of Castelia City can be seen in Join Avenue.

Attracting customers
The amount of NPC fans visiting daily increases with the rank of Join Avenue. These typically yield less popularity points than the avatars of other players.
To get the avatar of another player to visit Join Avenue, the player can do the following:
- Register the player on the C-Gear's Tag Log
- Have a battle or trade with the player - this includes Wi-Fi Battles, GTS trading, and GTS Negotiations
- Have a person leave a footprint at the player's Dream World house
Helpers
When the player get their Join Avenue to certain ranks, the owner (a Clerk♂) will award the player a helper. This is a list of the list of helpers that the player can gain:
- an Ace Trainer♂ that will let the player choose which shop the player can open. More shop choices are available as Join Avenue's rank goes up. (Rank 1)
- an Ace Trainer♀ measures the player's rank as well as changing their catchphrase, greeting and thankful message. She can also change shop/helper positions. (Rank 1)
- a NPC (wearing a tux and shades) that can tell the history of the friends of the player's friends. (Rank 2)
- a Scientist♂ that can act as a PC, being able to change the player's Pokémon's positions. Later on, he can also change the color and shape of Join Avenue's ceiling. (Rank 4)
- a Nurse that can heal the player's Pokemon. (Rank 6)
When Join Avenue reaches Rank 8, the player can recruit visiting player-NPCs to become helpers, replacing a helper. The player can only have a maximum of four helpers. Ordinary NPCs cannot be helpers.
When Join Avenue reaches Rank 10, the owner will allow the player to rename their avenue. The avenue name has the same restrictions as Pokémon nicknames.
