A Rider (Japanese: ライダー Rider) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation III games, appearing in Pokémon Colosseum. There are male and female versions, and they appear to be men and women in cowboy outfits.

The first Trainer that Wes battles in Pokémon Colosseum is Rider Willie, who battles with two Zigzagoon. He is seen again in Pokémon XD.
