. This would show up as (Japanese: Japanese characters Translation), for example,(Japanese: とべとべバタフリ- Fly, Butterfree)

Gendered pronouns
Please stop changing the 'its' and the like on single gendered Pokemon's articles. The articles need to be gender neutral. Thank you. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 23:35, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
- Let me explain the reasoning behind this, because Funktastic did not. While it is true that individuals of single-gendered species are always she or he, the species itself is still it because it is not an individual, but an abstract concept of a group. Therefore, unless a sentence is specifically referring to one individual, it is the pronoun we need to use. Think of it this way: a man is he and a woman is she, but mankind is it.
