Multiscale (Japanese: マルチスケイル Multiscale) is an Ability introduced in Generation V. Two Pokémon can have this Ability, both of which are Flying types. This Ability is exclusively obtained as a Hidden Ability.

Multiscale lowers damage taken from damage-dealing moves by half when at maximum HP. It does not reduce the amount of HP deducted by moves that deal a set amount of damage, such as Night Shade.
