Neither Dragon Rage, Seismic Toss or Night Shade state they are not affected by "other effects". All four of the set damage moves have listed that they are affected by Protect. Which information is correct? Is Sonic Boom different from the rest of the set damage moves so that it ignores Defense modifiers (including Protect), or is this an error? Is this information true for all generations, just the first, or only from second generation onwards? Electrical SonicBoom?

I think this should be in a Trivia section:

"Despite being a Normal-type move, only Electric-type Pokémon were capable of learning SonicBoom in Generation I."

It's on the page. Voltorb, Electrode, Magnemite, and Magneton all learn it. That might be good enough. --PsychicRider 16:02, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
