:This is true, but Persian primarily shares traits with cougars more than the other large cats. Big cats is a little misleading as it typically only refers to cats in the Panthera group. Wild cats encompasses all of them, so its a bit more fair. Persian Origins
Hello. Please don't change Persian's origins to say "big cats". Big cats are considered an actual group of cats defined by specific physical characteristics. The puma or cougar is not currently included in this group. Thanks. Crystal Talian 03:05, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
