Ikkon

(Japanese: イッコン Ikkon) is one of the characters of the day in XY020. He is the head of the house of the Battle Chateau.

He greeted Ash, his friends and Nikola and Tesla when they came to visit the Battle Chateau. On the way to the salon, which acts a meeting place for Trainers, Ikkon told the group more about the background and ranks of the Battle Chateau. At the salon, Ikkon announced Nikola to the other Trainers, as Nikola is a regular visitor of the Battle Chateau. During Nikola's battle with Farrell, Ikkon told the group more about the history of the Battle Chateau. Afterwards, Ikkon announced the following battle, between newcomers Ash and Tesla.

Trivia

• Ikkon's design is based on the Butler trainer class from X and Y. More specifically, Ikkon is based off the butler who welcomes the player and gives them information about the Battle Chateau and its ranks.
  • Despite this, there's a Trainer with the Japanese name of Ikkon at the Battle Chateau, but he has the appearance of a Monsieur instead of a Butler.
