Jin (Japanese: ジン Jin) is a character of the day who appeared in It's Still Rocket Roll to Me!.
Jin is an astronaut who is Rachel's husband and the father of the Mossdeep City Gym Leaders Tate and Liza. He was about to head into space when Team Rocket attacked. Max and Tate, along with a bunch of Baltoy and Tate's Solrock, were able to knock out Team Rocket, but the shuttle had already taken off. Jin helped to guide Max and Tate through the shuttle landing, and the two were able to land safely. Afterwards, Jin went up into space to look for new Pokémon.
