Sayer (Japanese: 親方 the Master) is a recurring character in the Pokémon anime.
Sayer is a resident of Twinleaf Town who first appeared in Strategy Begins at Home!. He is also the manager of the Twinleaf Festival. He hired Team Rocket to fish for Goldeen so that they could be given out as prizes during the festival.
In Historical Mystery Tour!, Sayer had Brock run one of his booths. He also was the referee for the Battle Challenge in Challenging a Towering Figure!. He hired Team Rocket to sell Octillery snacks.
