Monopoly Pokémon Kanto Edition box

Monopoly: Pokémon Kanto Edition is a special edition of the classic Monopoly game adapted towards Pokémon, focused on the Kanto region. It is set to be released on September 15, 2014. It has the SKU USOMN101000.

Changes from the original Monopoly

Monopoly Pokémon Kanto Edition board
  • The currency is the Pokémon Dollar ($).
  • Professor Oak and Trainer Battle spaces and cards replace chance and Community Chest spaces and cards, respectively
  • The four original types of Poké Balls, in ascending order of power, replace the railroads.
  • Blue Attacks and Team Rocket Attacks spaces replace the Income Tax and Luxury Tax spaces, respectively.
  • Zapdos and Articuno replace the Electric Company and Water Works spaces respectively.
