Drew's Butterfree (Japanese: シュウのバタフリ Shū's Butterfree) is a Pokémon owned by Drew.

Butterfree is Drew's fifth and latest Pokémon. It is unknown when it was caught but it was shown to be already very powerful.

It debuted in The Unbeatable Lightness of Seeing along with his Roselia. It was used in a double battle against May's Blaziken and Beautifly. Drew managed to defeat May.

This is Butterfree's only appearance to date.

Moves used

This is Drew's second Bug/Template:Type2 Pokémon, the first being his Masquerain.
Butterfree was caught after the appearence of Solidad. Solidad is one of Drew's main rivals so it may have been caught due to this. It is also possible that it was meant to be a rival for Beautifly.
