Should the trivia about the picture of Emolga have a source? [[User:Sumwun|sumwun]] ([[User talk:Sumwun|talk]]) 18:17, 22 February 2018 (UTC) |

Unique typing
It's too early to say Electric/Flying is unique to Emonga, as other Pokémon may have it. For all we know, they could decide to give Shimama a flying Pegasus for an evolution (joke). --Element03 05:45, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
- It can always be changed if another Pokémon is revealed to have it. --Psyライダー☮ 05:46, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Zapdos Lokitrick 15:11, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- Lokitrick, the trivia states that Emonga is the first since Zapdos to be introduced and the first non-legendary.--PhantomJunkie 15:16, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- It would also be worth mentioning that the fact that it does share a typing with Zapdos is a first among unrelated dual typed Electric Pokémon. Jas61292 03:49, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
"Nihon momonga"
This article says that the scientific name for the Japanese dwarf flying squirrel is Nihon momonga, but it's really Pteromys momonga, as you can see if you go to the article about it. --Shiny Noctowl 13:33, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
- I think we use the Hepburn romanization for all of these kind of articles. Crimsonnavy 17:47, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Just 'momonga' is Japanese for flying squirrel though, so I'd say that's the name source rather than specifically the N momonga. Ok 07:14, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
Shouldn't the origin section be changed to Japanese dwarf flying squirrel, momonga or P. momonga, rather than just flying squirrel or Petauridae? As the term "flying squirrel" is too general and the family Petauridae is not related to P. momonga. Even Emolga's Japanese name shows proof that it is based on a momonga,(Emonga)(エモンガ)(Pteromys momonga)(ニホンモモンガ)--Ankoku 17:17, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
Emonga
In the Trivia section shouldnt it be mentioned that this is the only Electric Rodent (Pikachu, Raichu, Pichu, Plusle, Minun, Pachirisu) with a secondary type? (flying of course) Ataro 21:35, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
I think it should be worth mentioning but other people might take it off. I once put in Pikachu's trivia that every generation had electric rodents similar to it. Generation 1 had Pikachu itself and Raichu, Generation 2 had Pikachu's pre-evo Pichu, Generation 3 had Plusle and Minun, and Generation 4 had Pachirisu. I also put that none of the lookalikes to Pikachu's family evolve. (This was before Emonga of Generation 5 was revealed, but then again, Emonga might not evolve either.) Someone took it down saying it wasn't worth mentioning, but I think it is even more worth mentioning Pikachu having lookalikes now that Emonga is revealed. I mean, all 5 generations so far have Pokemon looking like Pikachu, wether from Pikachu's family or not. I think yours would be worth mentioning as Emonga is the first of similar electric rodents with secondary type, but beware someone might take it down and say it isn't worth mentionng. --Brats817 23:43, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- I really don't see the logic in people saying a piece of trivia is "pointless" and not worth mentioning. The thing is, all trivia is pointless, that's why it's called trivia! If it's an interesting fact, and something that not everyone would have noticed before, then it's worth adding to an article. And the electric mouse trivia is interesting and certainly something I hadn't noticed before. T a r o m o n 12:48, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
Adding
{{evobox |sprite1=HGSS Question Mark Sprite |name1=Emonga |type1-1=Electric |type2-1=Flying}}
Maybe we should add this! -OrangeYoda 18:34, 24 August 2010 (UTC)♪
Shoupd it be added in trivia that Emonga is currently the only dual type with Static?
Or should that wait until all 5th gen Pokemon are released?--Shadowater 17:49, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
Pokedex Entry minor edit
Can someone please replace the pokedex entries with this?

Type effectiveness
Please add motordrive=maybe to Emonga's Type Effectiveness entry. It's his Dream World ability. -- Chosen of Mana 15:12, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
- It's very annoing that some new Pokémon are still protected...--でんのう ☢ Zえんし 15:20, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
forums notice
Apparently the notice at the top of this talk page is expired. Should it be removed? It's Turtwig A! My talk or wiki edits 02:33, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
- Most other Gen V Pokémon still have theirs, so I extended it to the amount of time they have. --SnorlaxMonster 03:31, 16 December 2010 (UTC)
Electric Rodents
I looked through all the rodent based electric Pokémon and saw that they all had what seemed to be electric sacs on there cheeks, should something be added about the rodent electric Pokémon being related like this? It's only mentioned on the Pikachu page.--Pika3323 20:06, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
BW Tour
So, wasn't Emolga revealed on the BW Tour? --Maxim 15:58, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
- It was. 1:22. Now please move the page. --Maxim 20:12, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
Beta Sprite?
There were some pictures around of Emolga before it was reveled with a different sprite, 1) is this a true beta sprite? I am unknown where it originated from?
Rubs its hands together?
"It is known that Emolga rubs its hands together in order to raise the power of its electricity." I saw this in Special Abilities, and I was wondering when this was shown. I checked all its Pokédex entries, and couldn't find it. Is it in one of the undubbed anime episodes or the manga? I only ask because it struck me as a little odd. Thanks! Alpha Sapphire Dex entry
Admins find me unbelieveble that my brother doesn't own Alpha Sapphire (which he actually does). So they don't want that as the source. He didn't have the national dex yet. So now is my request if someone else can add Emolga's Alpha Sapphire dex. Karstvgl (talk) 09:48, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
- It's suspicious because you initially used Serebii as a source and then switched it to your brother.--ForceFire 10:17, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
- I understand that. But the thing is too that I don't understand that Serebii is not a valid source. And here is the evidence that my brother HAS Alpha Sapphire. http://imgur.com/hIw5hZK (But he does not have national dex, that was wrong) Karstvgl (talk) 10:39, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
Animated Sprites (XY/ORAS)
I found the animated sprites for Emolga and Shiny Emolga for XY and ORAS Link: http://imgur.com/TUSrcn8,X6e5fZp,AAOglxu,YjzOGSz I found them on Reddit on an open source. If someone wants to add them, I would much appreciate it. karstvgl 16:50, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
