Release information

This card was included in the English Phantom Forces expansion, first released as one of the Japanese XY-P Promotional cards. In Japan, it was first available as an insert with the November 2014 issue of V Jump magazine, released on September 20, 2014. This print is Cracked Ice Reverse Holofoil and has the V-Jump logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork. A Non Holofoil version lacking the V-Jump logo was subsequently given out as a participation prize at the main Battle Festa 2014 events and the concurrent Battle Festa 2014 Satellite Gym Battle events. The Battle Festa 2014 was held at five locations across Japan: ACT CITY Hamamatsu Exhibition Event Hall, Shizuoka on October 26, 2014; Sunshine City Bunka Kaikan, Tokyo on the weekend of November 1-2, 2014; Kumamoto City Distribution and Information Hall, Kumamoto on November 9, 2014; Intex Osaka, Osaka on November 16, 2014; and Dream Messe Miyagi, Sendai on November 24, 2014. The commemorative Battle Festa 2014 Satellite Gym Battle was held at supporting Pokémon Card Gym locations across Japan on November 1, 2, 9, 16, and 24, 2014. A special Sheen Holofoil print of the English card was released in the GameStop-exclusive Gengar Spirit Link 2-pack on October 13, 2014 before the release of the main expansion. Another Non Holofoil print of this card was included in the Japanese M Master Deck Build Box Power Style released August 7, 2015.
