:Just to answer, type modifiers are multiplicative. If three types are 2x weak to a move, the power is multiplied by 8. Tiddlywinks (talk) 23:47, 28 April 2016 (UTC)

Relation to Fire

Let's say I gave Grass to Genesect or something 4x weak to Fire; would that deal 6x or 8x damage? I think it'd be the former, but is there any way to check this? ShadowBlizzard (talk) 03:46, 20 October 2015 (UTC)

Just to answer, type modifiers are multiplicative. If three types are 2x weak to a move, the power is multiplied by 8. Tiddlywinks (talk) 23:47, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
