He was mentioned in A Rush of Ninja Wisdom!, albeit only in a fantasy. He is the older brother of Sanpei and Nihei and hails from Ninja Village. Ippei is the strongest of the village and endowed with a huge sense of justice, as well as an extremely skillful ninja.
He made his first physical appearance in XY098, first appearing when Sanpei returns to his village accompanied by Ash and his friends.
After watching the Pokémon battle between Sanpei and Nihei, he made one analysis of the battle, commenting the mistakes that his younger brother took while.
