It seems to me that Mudbray and Mudsdale might be partially based on the {{wp|Poitou donkey}}. It's special hair looks a lot like Mudsdale's braids and Mudbray is a donkey [[User:Mangaman13|Mangaman13]] ([[User talk:Mangaman13|talk]]) 02:23, 11 August 2016 (UTC) | |||

Origin of Mudbray
Mudbray is likely based off of the Somali wild ass, the wild ancestor to the domestic donkey. Beyond its resemblance to a donkey (long ears, thin body and erect mane), Mudbray's nearly-extinct status is similar to the Somali wild ass, a critically endangered animal. - Nintendo101 (talk) 00:57, 2 August 2016 (UTC)

Poitou donkey
It seems to me that Mudbray and Mudsdale might be partially based on the Poitou donkey. It's special hair looks a lot like Mudsdale's braids and Mudbray is a donkey Mangaman13 (talk) 02:23, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
