DJ Leo is a childhood friend of Professor Kukui and a DJ, who is a part of the DJ group Dig-Dug-Leo (Japanese: ディグダグレオ Dig-Dug-Leo), previously called Dug-Leo (Japanese: ダグレオ Dug-Leo) before the Alolan Diglett joined him and his Alolan Dugtrio.
He appeared again in The Professors' New Adventure!, attending the wedding of Professor Kukui and Professor Burnet and providing the music at the wedding.
