Shaped like ancient writing, it is a huge mystery whether language or Unown came first.

Trivia

This card has been banned from all sanctioned Pokémon TCG tournaments using the Expanded format since September 1, 2019 in Japan and November 15, 2019 internationally because further expansions made Unown's Ability easier to be activated on the first turns and Reset Stamp, one of the items that countered this strategy, had been banned as well.

Origin

Hidden Power is a move in the Pokémon games that Unown can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Y.
