Trivia
- In Pokémon Colosseum, during the cutscene battle between Eagun and Cipher Peon Skrub at the Relic Stone, Skrub's Shadow Hitmontop is holding a Bright Powder. However, when the player immediately afterwards battles Skrub and has a chance to snag Hitmontop, it's holding a Black Belt instead.
- In Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, when pluralized or prefixed with the indefinite article, this item's name is rendered with a lowercase 'p' ("Brightpowder" and "a Brightpowder", respectively). In Pokémon Platinum and Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, both of these instances are corrected to display with a capital 'P' ("BrightPowders" and "a BrightPowder", respectively), matching how the item's name would normally be rendered.
