Release information
In Japan, this card was released as one of the S-P Promotional cards and was awarded to players who had accumulated at least 30 Championship Points over the course of the 2020-2021 season. As with the previous season, this reduced requirement was due to the continued effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Points could be accumulated up to August 31, 2021; eligible events included the 2021 Japan Championships, as well as 2021 Champion's Leagues, City Leagues, Trainer's Leagues, and Station Leagues that were able to go ahead. The card has the Championship Series 2021 logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration and distribution to entitled players began in late September 2021.
