Snow Path (Japanese: 雪の横穴 Snow Tunnel) is the eleventh dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX that contains 4 floors. It is an optional dungeon that precedes Frosty Forest and Mt. Freeze and becomes inaccessible once the peak of Mt. Freeze has been reached.
Gameplay
Snow Path exists solely so that the player may level themselves up, since at the point in the game where Frosty Forest is first introduced, the player is a fugitive that cannot return to Pokémon Square. Before entering Frosty Forest or Mount Freeze, or after failing to complete either of these dungeons as fugitives, the player can choose to enter Snow Path when heading over to the dungeon entrance. After completing the dungeon, the player and the partner will find themselves back at the entrance, with the partner saying that they took the wrong path.
There is no chance of finding a Monster House in this dungeon. Pokémon may not be recruited in this dungeon. While Kecleon shops and buried items cannot be found in Snow Path in the original games, they can be found here in the remake. Furthermore, in the remake a Kecleon shop is guaranteed to appear on floor 4.
