Release information

In Japan, this card was first available as a glossy Trainer card on sheets fourteen and fifteen of Expansion Sheet 2, featuring artwork by Hikaru Koike. It was reprinted as a non-glossy card in the Guren Town Gym Standard Deck. This print was released in the English Gym Challenge expansion. It was reprinted again in the Japanese Pokémon Web expansion using the e-Card Series layout.

Max Revive was later included as an Item card with a completely different effect and new artwork by 5ban Graphics in the XY expansion, first released in the Japanese Collection X. It was reprinted in the Japanese M Master Deck Build Box Power Style and M Master Deck Build Box Speed Style, and later in the English Generations expansion and Japanese BREAK Starter Pack. An unnumbered XY-P Promotional print was 1 of 9 cards available in special packs sent to Japanese Event Organizers in July 2016 for distribution in official events hosted by them. This print features the Event Organizer logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration.
