Entry This Pokémon can fly in spite of its large bulk. It is said to be able to circumnavigate the earth in just 16 hours.

Release Information

This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it was released as a special card by All Nippon Airways in 1998. Passengers flying in conjunction with the "Pokémon Getaways" campaign could redeem their boarding passes for the 2 card set including Dragonite and Flying Pikachu. The English version of the card was one of four possible cards that one could receive by buying a ticket to the cinema showing of Mewtwo Strikes Back. The English version also has a gold foil stamp in the top right corner that reads "Kids WB Presents Pokémon The First Movie".
