"Mr." Juniper
Can I just express how very opposed I am to calling this character "Mr. Juniper" instead of "Professor Juniper"? His name is the latter, not the former. He is referred to in the game as アララギ博士 in every single instance that I have seen. I admit that I haven't finished the game yet, but I have never seen him referred to as アララギパパ (where did that come from, out of curiosity?).
Of course we can't have this article at Professor Juniper - maybe Professor Juniper Sr. or Professor Juniper (father) or something? - but this man has his doctorate. A simple "Mister" isn't the appropriate title. D: 梅子❄❅ 20:57, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
- It says アララギパパ in his speech balloon when you get him to check your Pokédex after you beat the Elite Four. --ケンジのガール 00:16, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
- Hmm... It's just that the NPCs keep calling him Hakase and stuff. And I believe he's called Araragi-hakase in the official guidebook too... D8 梅子❄❅ 00:46, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah. He is called Hakase prior to the Elite Four. But then he suddenly goes by Papa. I don't get it either. --ケンジのガール 00:55, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
- Well, if there's a plot-related reason for it, I'll come back and report on it when I find it. I should be at the Elite Four within the next few days. :D 梅子❄❅ 01:10, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
- I think, for the sake of clarity, the article should be named Papa, but start like "Professor Juniper, also known as Papa". --jda95 01:16, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
- Maybe we should wait to see how the games refer to him. --RiverAura 02:30, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
- I think he gets called Araragipapa only by speech bubbles' names, but lol when I tried to add -hakase also into the article back in November, I got reverted by Maxim. Bluesun 12:51, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
- As far as I remember from the games, he was just called "Araragi" and "Araragi Papa" in the part where he appeared together with his daughter (to distinguish him from her). I do not recall him being called a professor. --Maxim 13:40, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
- I just got the official Piggyback gameguide for B/W, and the guide says his name is Cedric Juniper. Professor Cedric Juniper. I don't know if this is official or if this is just a name coined by piggyback. Just sayin. Alexjuuhh 16:59, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
- Awesome. Not moving the page yet, as we need to see that in-game first. But even if this isn't mentioned in game, I think it deserves a trivia. --Maxim 17:05, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

So...
How should we move his page - "Professor Cedric Juniper", "Prof. Cedric Juniper" or just "Cedric Juniper"? I personally like the latest, his doctorate isn't really important in-game and that way title isn't unacceptably long. --Maxim 13:52, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
Sarcasm Intended?
"Out of the known relatives of Pokémon professors, Professor Cedric Juniper is the only one that is older than his professor relative: Brendan and May are younger than Professor Birch, Blue and Daisy are younger than Professor Oak, and Professor Elm's child is older than he is (sarcasm intended)." Was the last bit really necessary? --Ryu Shoji 23:54, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
Seeing Klinks (Mistralton City)
It is technically impossible to not see a Klink because you have to battle and beat N in Chargestone Cave to get to the city, who uses a Klink. Should this be removed/who added the fact that he says ("You haven't seen a Klink")? Thanks--Epsilonexus 18:40, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
- It is possible to get around N with cheats though so it is possible to not see a Klink. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 20:48, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
- Still, the quote would then be a cheat-only quote, so should be noted as such. --SnorlaxMonster 02:17, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
- Didn't think of cheating, thanks--Epsilonexus 10:07, 26 December 2011 (UTC)

Research
Should we note that Cedric used to/still research Pokemon Legends?--Omojuzeforever 12:52, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
Voice Actor
Does anyone know the voice actor for Cedric in the English dub? He sounds suspiciously like Stuart Zagnit (Professor Oak). - unsigned comment from Jnzooger (talk • contribs)
completing his sentences
His anime section mentions that he has a habit of not completing his sentences. When I watched the episode, he would be interrupted by someone else every time he spoke without actually finishing his statement. How is that a habit of not completing his sentences? PattyMan 01:22, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
A problem with the Pokédex Evaluation
After evaluating my Pokédex, I noticed that his evaluation quote did not match the criteria listed in the quotes section. I caught 346 Pokémon in total. According to the page, because the number falls between 300 and 349, his evaluation quote should be: "There are several ways for Pokémon to evolve. Some Pokémon even evolve through friendship!" Rather than that, I instead got: "Do you know the move Mean Look? If you use Mean Look on a Pokémon, it can't run away!", a quote which he supposedly only says when you have caught 250-299 Pokémon. Should this be looked into more? --FolksCallMeHilbert (talk) 19:16, 20 July 2017 (UTC)
Pokemon Professor Relatives
"Out of the known blood relatives of Pokémon Professors, Cedric is the only one that is older than his professor relative: Brendan and May are younger than Professor Birch, Blue and Daisy are younger than Professor Oak, and Professor Elm's unnamed child is younger than him."
Since Sonia becomes a Professor during the Sword and Shield post-game, this seems inaccurate. Would it be better to change it to say that Cedric is one of two relatives for whom this is true?
