Remove a number of damage counters from Sunkern equal to half the damage done to the Defending Pokémon (after applying Weakness and Resistance) (rounded up to the nearest 10). If Sunkern has fewer damage counters than that, remove all of them.

Release information

This card was included in the Neo Genesis expansion with artwork by Kagemaru Himeno, first released in the Japanese Gold, Silver, to a New World... expansion. In Japan, it was reprinted as an Unnumbered Promotional card with different artwork by the same artist and was included with the fourth volume of the manga series, How I Became a Pokémon Card released on August 23, 2000. This print has a color graphic of an open book with a trading card in place of an expansion symbol.

The Japanese Unnumbered Promotional print is commonly known as Natta Wake Sunkern in reference to the publication in which it was distributed. The text on the bottom of this print's card border reads: "Pokémon Card Books "How I Became a Pokémon Card" bonus card."
