:In the past, Hitomi Sato had worked at Game Freak but she currently appears not to be, similar to how [[Yusuke Ohmura]] had left Game Freak but still designs characters for the main series. The article says she left GAME FREAK after ORAS, yet the list states she contributed to games after ORAS, up to SV's DLC; how can both of these be true? Kikugi (talk) 21:15, 12 January 2024 (UTC)

In the past, Hitomi Sato had worked at Game Freak but she currently appears not to be, similar to how Yusuke Ohmura had left Game Freak but still designs characters for the main series. Her work since then is (probably) sub-contracted/freelance. I wasn't too sure of her situation but the Pokémon soundtrack CDs include staff credits that mention company affiliation and the first soundtrack where she isn't credited as a Game Freak employee is Sun & Moon (image scan of the relevant liner notes). 7 years later, the Overlap website for the upcoming soundtracks seemingly reaffirms that she isn't a Game Freak employee.
