Kariya is an illustrator who has contributed artwork to the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Thus far, Kariya has illustrated 10 cards, the first of which was Herdier from the Obsidian Flames expansion.

In 2024, they were a key animator on the Pokémon Day 2024 video POKÉDANCE, and also designed the character dancing with the Alola starter Pokémon.[1]
