Coral (Japanese: サンゴ Sango) is one of the admins of the Explorers, and a recurring major antagonist in Pokémon Horizons: The Series.
History
Coral first appeared as a hologram in The Ancient Poké Ball, silhouetted with two other Admins, Onyx and Agate.
In Quaxly, We Can Do It!, she appeared again as a hologram, this time not silhouetted and along with some of her fellow admins, talked to Spinel after his failure in having Liko's pendant taken away from him.
She made her physical debut in HZ024, where Hamber requested that Coral and Onyx accompany him to the Old castle in the Galar region. They planned to meet with Amethio, Zirc and Onia and assist with pursuing a mysterious Pokémon that emerged from Liko's pendant. Shortly after arriving, Coral ignored Hamber's orders to stay behind and attacked Liko and Roy, only to be stopped by Captain Pikachu. Once Cap took out Onyx's Garganacl, Coral snapped and ordered her Glalie to use Self-Destruct, giving Friede the opportunity to take Liko and Roy to safety. After the Rising Volt Tacklers fled the area, Coral was scolded by Onyx for her reckless behavior.
In HZ027, Coral appeared with Agate and Onyx waiting to meet to discuss the Explorers' next goals. While she waited, Coral seemed very impatient and this angered Onyx, who blamed her for the failed mission in Galar. During the meeting, Coral was teasing Amethio about what happened in the previous mission and together with the other members of the Explorers they decided that they would follow in Black Rayquaza's footsteps.
Character
Coral appears to have a mostly cheery and playful personality, she also has a teasing side as well since she often likes to disrespectfully poke fun at and ridicule other people easily, such as her fellow admins Spinel and Onyx. Coral is along with Onyx, known as "the troublemakers", being less disciplined and more aggressive than their fellow admins. Coral in particular appears to have a very volatile mood that can become extremely violent in an instant, which was seen during the siege on Diana's castle, where she commanded her Glalie into using Self-Destruct under a fit of rage, against Onyx's own protests that it was reckless.

Glalie is Coral's only known Pokémon. In HZ025, she used it to battle Liko and Roy alongside Onyx and his Garganacl. Captain Pikachu soon arrived to rescue them, facing off against Glalie and Garganacl, Glalie tried to hit Pikachu with Blizzard but missed, afterwards Pikachu sent Garganacl flying with its attack. Coral soon got frustrated by Pikachu's defiance and recklessly commanded Glalie to use Self-Destruct. Captain Pikachu was able to escape the damage thanks to Friede and Charizard while Glalie unfortunately took both itself and Garganacl out with its own attack.
Glalie's known moves are Blizzard and Self-Destruct.
