I was browsing WikiBound because I'm moving priorities to that series' Wiki, but I have a memento to leave here. There is an enemy in Earthbound that is also coincidentally called the "Loaded Dice." Is this worth adding? I know we added a trivia fact on how Dark Matter from Mystery Dungeon shares his name with a Kirby boss, so would this be fair game, too?

(Edit: I also see that their Japanese names are different, but yet their Japanese names also imply negativity (Earthbound's is "Unfaithful Dice" while Pokémon's is "Cheating Dice")

What is the probability of a multi-hit move (for example, Bullet Seed) hitting 5 times when used by a Pokémon holding Loaded Dice? I could just as easily see it being 50% (since there's normally an equal probability of Bullet Seed hitting 4 or 5 times) or being 15% (since that's the normal probability the move will hit 5 times). The former would more likely happen if it limits the possible number of hits to 4 or 5 and then rolls, whereas the latter would more likely happen if it rolled as normal, and then if the move rolled to hit 2 or 3 times it instead hits 4 times. According to research on Smogon, Bullet Seed will still only have a 15% chance to hit 5 times with a Loaded Dice equipped -Minibug (talk) 22:50, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
