They spend the rest of the episode trying to find their repective groups but must stay together because of the cord. Finally, Ash, his friends, and Team Rocket find Meowth and Pikachu and battle for their Pokémon. Ash wins, and takes the key from Jessie. He unlocks Pikachu. After Meowth and the other two of Team Rocket make one last attempt to steal Pikachu, it's Togepi to the rescue! A Metronome attack sends the trio blasting off again.
