"Handsome" (Japanese: ハンサム Handsome) is the codename for a character introduced in Pokémon Platinum. He was first announced in an issue of CoroCoro.

He is an international police officer on assignment investigating Team Galactic and its plans. "Handsome" seems to be a protagonist, occasionally meeting up with the player; however, CoroCoro also questions what his true motives may be. Handsome can be seen talking with the player in many locations including Jubilife City and the Valley Windworks.

A trainer sprite was made for "Handsome"; this might suggest that he will be seen in battle as an opponent.
