Trivia

• This is the last dub episode until AG146 to feature Ken Gates as the narrator.
• This is one of the few times where Ash lashes out at one of his friends after a loss. When Brock tries to give him advice about what he should have done, he yells "Shut up!" at him.

Errors

• Brawly said that Hariyama managed to defeat Ash's Taillow and Treecko, although Hariyama only defeated Ash's Treecko. Brawly's Machop is the one who defeated Ash's Taillow.
