Furret (Japanese: オオタチ Ootachi, German: Wiesenior, French: Fouinar) is a Normal-type Pokémon.
Pokédex entries
- Pokémon Crystal
- It lives in narrow burrows that fit its slim body. The deeper the nests go, the more maze-like they become.
- Pokémon Emerald
- A Furret has a very slim build. When under attack, it can squirm through narrow spaces and get away. In spite of its short limbs, it is very nimble and fleet.
Name origin
Furret's name is a combination of ferret and furry. It is more similar to a ferret than Sentret. The French for ferret happens to be Furet, yet the French corruption is actually Beech Marten; although the actual meaning implied by the corruption seems to be snoop.
