Maid (Japanese: メイド Maid) is a Generation IV trainer class, which debuted in Pokémon Platinum. They are depicted as young women in typical maid servant clothing.
They appear only in Pokémon Platinum in Mr. Backlot's mansion when the player decides to take the five-maid challenge.
Their respective names are Hannah (ハンナ), Sophie (ソフィ), Emily (エミリ), Helen (ヘレン) and Claire (クレア). Non-Japanese names were probably chosen for them to depict them as stereotypical foreign maids.
In this respect, they are somewhat similar to the Kimono Girls in Johto.
