Just a brief summary, I am one of the Leaders of a private Gym. The other Gym Leader is my Pikachu.

Why I chose the name Kanga is supposed to be short for Kangaskhan, the parent Pokémon. To me, the depiction of a Kangaskhan is that of a mother. I am not actually a mother, myself, but I think this depiction is, in my opinion, good in terms of Pokémon because the games nowadays have a minor goal of taking care of Pokémon and making them happy.
Just so you know, Kanga is also the name of a motherly character in A.A. Mille's "Winnie-the-Pooh." See [1]
